WHO IS IAFP?

The Idaho Association for Financial Professionals is a non-profit organization founded in 2000. IAFP is dedicated to promoting the treasury management profession through education and professional development of its members. The association also provides a regional forum for the exchange of ideas and techniques in the field of treasury management. IAFP is one of 65 regional affiliates of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), the national organization for treasury professionals.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP?

IAFP membership is available to individual practitioners involved in treasury and cash management. Members come from a wide range of businesses, primarily within the Boise metropolitan area. Members represent a variety of disciplines and industries: banking, state and local governments, consulting, small business, utility, health care, manufacturing, and others. Members bring with them a diverse range of special interests and unique ideas as well as experience and solutions that may benefit other members.

ACTIVITIES

IAFP holds bi-monthly meetings featuring presentations by expert guest speakers on various treasury topics, including economic updates, fraud issues, EDI and electronic commerce, foreign exchange, credit and risk management.

EDUCATION

IAFP meetings enable members with the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation to earn CPE credit. Click on the Link to AFP website above for more information regarding the CTP.
